QUESTION: how to convert a 220 volt electric motor to a 110 volt electric motor?
ANSWER: If you are referring to any electric motor, the answer to your question is beyond my knowledge. However, I will tell you that as far as ceiling fans are concerned, there is no "Do it yourself" way to do this. Ceiling fans are produced at the factory with all of the correct wire sizes, capacitors, controls and other components that are specifically designed for the voltage of fan that is being produced. You would literally need to change everyting inside the fan to make it work at a different voltage...if such parts were even available (most likely not).
