Feel the healing power...
Although the use of copper as a metalic finish in todays home décor is not at the top of the popularity list, more and more designer magazines feature kitchens with copper hoods and bathrooms with antique copper faucets. Copper just seems to have something about it that is different than other metals. Copper feels more natural or earthy than other metals, in an aluring and mystical way. It takes a special person to appreciate copper or relate to it. Some believe it has metaphysical healing properties. If you are one who enjoys the healing power of copper, or just love the way it looks, we have some copper ceiling fans that you will like. Polished copper is usually reserved for the more contemporary styles, whereas antique copper and verde copper are going to be used on more classic or traditional styles because it comes across as a more elegant finish when applied to metals that have some details in them. Keep in mind that most of the copper ceiling fans you see here will be either copper plated or the finish is created by some other process, so do not expect solid copper to be used in the making of these ceiling fans unless otherwise indicated.
|The above chart suggests the optimal ceiling fan size and CFMs you should consider for typical rooms. Ceiling height, angle, and room layout may affect these recommendations. For Expert Advice call: 1-800-201-1193.|
Although the EPA now requires fan manufacturers to publish the CFM ratings of their fans, there is no standardized scientific method of determining what size and CFM fan is best for any given application. A few quick searches and you will find that each ceiling fan manufacturer interprets this differently. So we created our own size and CFM recommendation chart to give you an idea what we recommend for "typical" applications. We produced this chart based on over 20 years of experience dealing with ceiling fans and the people who we've sold them to. For the most part, this chart will suffice. If you have low ceilings, you can fudge a little on the CFM and use a fan in the lesser range of the room size. If you have high ceilings, you need more CFM and a fan closer to the larger size of the chart. In most cases, the more the CFM the better and the higher the quality score the better!
