The Minka Aire Concept II Wet
ceiling fan was the first ever hugger style fan and can be installed in
indoors or outdoors in dry, damp or wet locations. This unique fan outsells any outdoor fan we
have ever supplied. It comes with a full function wall control that can be
converted to a remote control (remote is optional). The built-in 100W
light is flush to the bottom of the fan which hangs a mere 10 1/2" from the ceiling for increased headroom. The powerful 188mm x 20mm
motor combined with a 14 degree blade pitch provides superior
air movement. It even has a lifetime motor warranty, which is unusual for wet rated outdoor fans!

Editors Note: No other fan company does brass and gold ceiling fans like Casablanca. And when it comes to a brass or gold finished ceiling fan, the Casablanca 19th Century is the finest there is. This beautiful fan is shown in an elegant gold finish but is also available a burnished brass as shown in the smaller picture. The details of the motor casing are turn of the century from the gas light era and are quite elegant and tasteful. The finish is masterfully applied to bring out every subtle detail in the patters of the motor casing and blade holders. But beware, not everyone has the resources to own this fan.

Editors Note: Up until just a few years ago, there were very few Contemporary ceiling fans on the market. The Stealth fan by Casablanca (pictured to the right) was the first truly contemporary style fan to become well recognized and was designed by Casablanca over 10 years ago. And for nearly 5 years, it was the one and only contemporary fan on the market...no other fan companies had anything like it.
This fan was an incredibly innovative fan when it was first introduced and is still one of the best selling contemporary fans today. Even though there are so many more contemporary fans available today, the Casablanca Stealth fan is our number one pick for the all time best selling contemporary style ceiling fan. It took almost 5 years for other fan companies to come up with their own contemporary style fans. And the first ones to hit the market were very similar in design to the Casablanca Stealth, some so similar they almost looked like copies. The big difference was that the copies were substantially less expensive (and lesser quality). It was then that the contemporary boom really took off. Soon thereafter, every fan manufacturer under the sun was racing to design new contemporary style fans. With so many manufacturers trying to compete with the Casablanca Stealth, this design explosion stimulated great creativity in contemporary ceiling fan design.
