This page as well as others for the Panama says that it comes with a Flushmount Adapter. Is this true?
Answer: Our mistake, the Casablanca Panama ceiling fans can be flush mounted, but the adapter (model LCA) is sold separately. You can add the adapter to your ceiling fan by clicking on the "Other Stuff" button beneath the fan picture at the top of the product detail page.

What is the shortest downrod that can be used with the Casablanca S3 Ceiling Fan Model 93068M without reducing airflow. I have a 9 foot ceiling and want to verify that this fan will have enough clearance above the fan to not restrict air flow. I am looking for a fan for my home theater room. High CFM and low noise is very important. Noise is generated by the motor, vibration and air-flow. Which fan is best for High CFM and low noise. Any recommendations. Dan
Answer: If you choose the S3, you will get the best performance on a 9 foot ceiling if you use a 12" downrod. This will reduce the restriction of airflow between the blades and ceiling, which will result in increased airflow and less air noise. However, 3-blade ceiling fans generally move more air than equivalent 5-blade fans, but they also generate louder wind noise. So based on your criteria, I would not suggest a 3-bladed ceiling fan of any kind. You will sacrifice some airflow by going to a 5-blade fan, but the air noise will be substantially reduced.
With that said, my recommendation are listed below. These 3 ceiling fans are even higher quality than the S3 and are contemporary designs that are available in a black finish. They will be the quietest fans you can buy that move lots of air without vibration or wobble.
• The Casablanca Veneto
• The Casablanca Vita
• The Casablanca Stealth
The Veneto is likely your best choice because a wider blade span will move air in a larger area with less air noise than smaller blades. If you choose the Veneto, use a 6" downrod. The other 2 fans should have a 12 inch downrod. The uplight feature included with the Veneto and Vita ceiling fans is also great for mood lighting in a theater room, particularly since they are dimmable and cast a warm glow on the ceiling.

Can this fan be used outdoors in Arizona where the humidity is not a concern?
Answer: No it cannot. There is still humidity during the winter, so any ceiling fan that is used outdoors in any location must be rated for either Damp or Wet outdoor use.

We have a short blade casablanca fan in our sons bedroom. the fan motor hums when the blades rotate. i have already changed the light fixture to remedy this.
Answer: What model of Casablanca ceiling fan do you own? Casablanca has a wide range of ceiling fans...some are far better than others. You can find the model number on the top of the motor housing. FYI: A very common reason that a quality ceiling fan will hum is if it is hooked up to a dimmer control on the wall. Dimmer controls are not good for ceiling fans. Not only will they make a fan hum, they will cause permanent damage to the windings in the motor and the fan may eventually fail. If that is the case, replace the dimmer control with an on/off toggle switch and that might solve the problem if the damage to the motor is not severe.

Do you happen to still have a Victorian in Bright Brass with Inteli-touch in stock? I know it is discontinued.
Answer: Sorry, we sold out of Bright Brass Victorian fans quite some time ago. They were discontinued about 4 years ago, so it is unlikely that you will be able to find one in stock anywhere. Casablanca still produces the Victorian ceiling fans, but only in Antique Brass (model 6344T) and Oil Rubbed Bronze (model 6373T). There are other fans on the market that look very similar to the Casablanca Victorian that are available in a Polished Brass finish, but none have controls like the Inteli-Touch control. Please give us a call if you would like to explore these possibilities.

Answer: The KG210 is NOT compatible with the Casablanca Brescia ceiling fans as indicated on our website. Although I cannot say exactly what the issue is, the Casablanca catalog has a compatibility chart that specifically indicates that it will not work.

Answer: If you purchase any one of our ceiling fans that comes with a light fixture, you can operate the ceiling fan without the light being on. If you are referring to a fan that comes with a light fixture but you want to install it without the light, then that depends on the fan. Some fans that have built-in lights also come with a bottom cap that is used when you want to install the fan without the light fixture, other models do not have such a cap. Since this applies only to specific models of ceiling fans, I suggest that you call us so that we can discuss this further and make sure the fan that you select best fits your needs.

I bught a stealth one year ago and two days ago it stop working, not even the light goes on. It does not respond to the main control. Batteries are ok. What could be the problem. I am in Colombia.
Answer: Could be as simple as a loose wire in the ceiling or could be a problem with the transmitter or something wrong with the on-board computerized control inside the fan. Casablanca has an excellent customer service and technical department that you can contact directly using this number: 1-888-227-2178. You can also find a local Casablanca Ceiling Fan Repair Center here!. Since you are in Colombia, I might also suggest talking to someone at the place where you purchased the fan.

Does the delta II Casablanca fan require a intelli touch remote
Answer: You cannot use an Inteli-Touch wall control as your Delta II fan does not have the necessary on-board computerized system that is built-in to Inteli-Touch fans. You can use the optional controls that are currently available for the Casablanca Panama 4-Speed Pull Chain fans located here on our site.
FYI: The Casablanca Delta II ceiling fans were discontinued quite a few years ago and replaced with the Panama series. At the time the Delta fans were in production, the Panama was virtually the same as the Delta, but included the original Computerized Inteli-Touch wall control and had straight slots on the bottom of the fan as opposed to the slanted slots of the Delta II fans. Eventually, Casablanca eliminated the Delta fans and simply began offering the Panama in several different versions including the Inteli-Touch Wall Control, the Advan-Touch Remote and the 4-speed pull chain model, which directly replaced the original variable speed and 3-speed pull chain Deltas. The Casablanca Inteli-Touch wall control and Advan-Touch remote control fans require special computerized components that are installed at the factory, so an Inteli-Touch control will not work with a pull chain model, nor will an Advan-Touch remote work with an Inteli-Touch model. Casablanca is actually in the process of phasing out these controls and introducing a new system that will allow consumers to use both a wall control and remote control with the new fans. These new controls still require a computerized system, so they will not work on pull chain models.

How can this be a 5 rated fan with a pull chain, who operates a fan by a pull chain. We have a two story ceiling that we wish to install a fan and we could not reach a pull chain. What fans have wall controls and all the features, variable speed, lights, reverse ability. It seems fans have one or two features but n ot everything. I do not understand this.
Answer: The rating of 5 is for the quality of the materials and the overall construction of the fan including the type of motor that is used.
