Ceiling Fan Glass Shades and Globes

Glass shades and globes for ceiling fan lights - Replacement glass and optional globes.

The glass shades and globes featured here are designed to fit specific "Optional" light fixtures offered by the brands of fans that we carry. The 2 1/4", 3 1/2" and 4" glass shades and globes are universal, which means they will fit most any brand of fixture that size. All other types of glass are designed to fit specific fixtures offered by the brand they are made by and are not universal. Therefore, if your fan came with a built-in light fixture and you are looking for a replacement globe, you will need to call us to see if a replacement is available as you will not find replacement for built-in light fixtures here...providing your fan is one of the brands that we carry.

I am looking for a ceilling fan replacement globe, between 9.5 - 9.75 inches in diameter, and about 4 inches deep. Please provide me with you prices.

Answer: Replacement globes for ceiling fans are generally not generic items that are swappable between brands and models of fans. So you need to find the globe that was made specifically for your fan. Therefore, you will need to supply us with the brand and model number of the fan if the light fixture was built-in. If the light fixture is a separate option attached to the bottom of the fan, then we need to know the brand and model number of the light fixture. If the fan or fixture is one of the major name brands you see on our website, then we may be able to help you. If the fan was purchased from a home center or department store, then it is likely that no such replacement globe exists.

I need a replacement globe for model M42UL # 2.11a with light I cannot find a brand name on the fan. This globe should be around 7 and 3 quarters to 7 and 7 eigths inches in diameter.

Answer: Fans like yours that do not have a brand name are mass produced in China and imported directly by mass merchants such as K-Mart or Wal-mart. These companies do not import replacement globes for the fans and there are no generic globes available since there is no standard dimension for such globes. For these low end no-name brand fans, the most common solution is to replace the fan...because there is generally no alternative. My suggestion would be to make sure that the next fan you purchase is made by one of the name brands you see on our website. They generally warehouse replacement parts for years for the fans we supply. If you buy your next fan from us, we actually have a 5 year FREE replacement parts plan that says we will replace your glass for FREE should you break it...even if it was just accidental.

I am looking for a white glass shade for a ceiling fan(the original broke and we don't know the brand o the fan). The shade is 10" in diameter where the lip fits into the fixture and is held in place by tightening small screws. The part you see ilooks like an inverted bowl that starts out wide and then coes to a point. It

Answer: What you have described could be one of hundreds of different glass shades made for various ceiling fans. You are going to need to find the brand and model of your fan to make a dent in your research. Look for the label on the top of your fan motor. If it is a brand and model that we carry, we can probably get the glass for you. Otherwise, google the brand and model number and see what you find.

What are the exact colors and design of your MC-G875? In your picture, it looks pink-ish. But it is difficult to tell if the raised surface is in a pattern or simply arbitrary bumps.

Answer: The MC-G875 glass shade is a tea stained scavo glass. Scavo is a commonly used designer term for a particular type of glass that is rough in texture...almost as though it has been sand blasted. It is not pinkish, but rather more beige. There is a raised pattern on the lip of the glass. Here is a link to a larger picture where you can see the detail: Tea Stained Scavo Glass Shade G875.

I need a one quarter twist mushroom shaped glass globe for a ceiling fan. It has a 4 and one half inch inside diameter and roughly 4 and three quarter inch outside diameter base. It is 5 and one half inch depth and fits in a fan with a serial number of 0039573 and a model number of 48 TP. Any help??

Answer: The globe you are describing sounds like one that was made specifically for a particular ceiling fan. If it is one of the models we carry, we most likely can get you a replacement. If it was a fan purchased from a home center, then you most likely cannot get it replaced and will need to buy a new fan. What brand and model of ceiling fan is this glass shade for?

I have broken a dome light on my Emerson ceiling fan. Ii is an older model and needs a 7" fitter to fit. It has grooves on the outside to half screw in, then you have to finish turning the real screws to make it stay in place. It looks similar to the school house light but is much shorter in depth. It actually looks more like a round dome light. Have any ideas as to where I can find this?

Answer: If you can email me a picture of the fan I may be able to identify it and offer some help. gregt@hansenwholesale.com
