Medium size ceiling fans with 42 inch to 48 inch blade spans

Great ceiling fans for small bedrooms

Medium sized ceiling fans come in sizes from 42 inches to 48 inches and are perfect for smaller rooms such as kids rooms, quest bedrooms, and larger bathrooms. For rooms that are less than 10 x 10 or less, this is a good sized ceiling fan. However, keep in mind that most 42 inch ceiling fans will have smaller motors with a flatter blade pitch, so they may not move as much air as a standard sized fan. If you are unsure if a 42 inch or 48 inch sized fan is too small for your room, or you just want to make sure you get enough air movement, it is not wrong to use a 50 inch or 52 inch sized fan in a 10 x 10 room providing you choose a fan that blends in with the ceiling.
