The Minka Aire Concept II Wet
ceiling fan was the first ever hugger style fan and can be installed in
indoors or outdoors in dry, damp or wet locations. This unique fan outsells any outdoor fan we
have ever supplied. It comes with a full function wall control that can be
converted to a remote control (remote is optional). The built-in 100W
light is flush to the bottom of the fan which hangs a mere 10 1/2" from the ceiling for increased headroom. The powerful 188mm x 20mm
motor combined with a 14 degree blade pitch provides superior
air movement. It even has a lifetime motor warranty, which is unusual for wet rated outdoor fans!

Editors Note: Going even one step further, Minka Aire recently introduced the Artemis ceiling fan in a Liquid Nickel finish. If you remember the movie Terminator, this fan looks like the liquid metal used in that movie. Because there are no straigh lines in this fan, the highly reflective metalic crome finish looks like liquid. Another fantastic design from Minka Aire.
