The description forMontecarlo DC52 (DC Motor) Ceiling Fan Model 5DCR52RB states "Comes with 7 Speed hand held remote control system with reverse. Included with DC52 fans" but in specifications it says 3 speed, So, is the fan 3 or 7 speed?

Answer: The Montecarlo DC52 ceiling fans do in fact come with a 7 speed remote control. The reference to 3 speeds was a mistake on our website and has been corrected. Thanks for pointing this out.

I have an outdoor covered porach with 6 fans. It gets lots of wind and I have been having trouble with the metal blade arms breaking or bending. I guess it is metal fatague. I need a outdoor fan with a stronger blade arm that will stan up to windy conditions?

Answer: The best outdoor fans for windy locations are outdoor fans that DO NOT have blade holders. There are several to choose from, the best of which are the Concept I and Concept II series outdoor fans from Minka Aire. If these are too contemporary for your taste, then we recommend the Casablanca Heritage, which has very sturdy blade arms. Please refer to our outdoor ceiling fans page for a detailed description of fans that we recommend most for windy areas.

I am little confused by the statement in the description for thr lotus leaf light fitting, 21904MC83WH, for the Monte Carlo 5CY60WH fan that the finish is "white". You mean the glass is white, although the picture shows a blue/grey glass? I take it the light bulbs are above the glass? Would you give me a call, please?

Answer: The finish our site refers to is the finish of the metal finial or fixture that holds the glass in place. I have changed the language to be more clear for others who may have the same question in the future. The glass is clear with grooves and etching to create the leaf pattern, it does not have a blue hue to it. The glass bowl is quite substantial and has a very elegant look.

Answer: Yes, the Montecarlo Discus ceiling fans use 1-75W E-11 mini candelabra halogen bulb. The light bulb is included with the ceiling fan.

I am looking at the monecarlo ornate ceiling fan. What color is "textured white"?

Answer: Textured white is a very popular finish for ceiling fans nowadays. It is just like it sounds, a white finish that has a texture to it. It is a matte white (no gloss) and the texture is very minimal giving it a soft appearance.

Can I control this fan with a wall switch for light and another wall-mounted fan speed control (each with their own separate 2-conductor plus ground cable? Can I replace the 75 w halogen bulb with a 100 or 150 w?

Answer: Yes you can. The Wall Control Model ESSWC-2 is designed to operate the light and fan speeds from 2 separate hot wires, although the control fits into a single gang box and does not have 2 separate ground wires. If for whatever reason you must have to separate ground wires (which is not really necessary), you can in fact purchase 2 completely separate controls. This option is not shown on our site for the Discus ceiling fan, so you will need to call us if that is how you want to order it. There is no option to replace the Halogen bulb with any other type of bulb.

Any problem using a outdoor fan indoors? I was looking at the Montecarlo Cyclone Ceiling Fan Model 5CY60WH.

Answer: Outdoor ceiling fans can certainly be used indoors, but indoor ceiling fans cannot be used outdoors. Outdoor ceiling fans are built with components that are more resistant to moisture or water, whereas ceiling fans made only for indoors are not. So, if the Montecarlo Cyclone suits your style and budget, it is an excellent choice for use inside your home.

Hi - i recently ordered three of these fans. my contracter claims that the mounting bracket and pole with the ball were not in the box, but i suspect he lost them. do you see parts seperately? i need the flat bracket and the pole and i need to order an extension pole. Thank you , Beth Censits

for Montecarlo Mach One Ceiling Fan Model 3MO52TMO-L, does the remote control have dimming control for the lighting or does it only control on and off?

Answer: The remote control for the Mach one ceiling fans has a full range light dimmer as well as on and off.
