What is a Transitional Style Ceiling Fan?

Transitional style ceiling fans are a crossover between traditional style and contemporary style. The lines of a transitional style fan are smooth but less geometric than contemporary style fans, yet more up to date than fans of years in the past. Transitional style decor follows similar quidelines. Most of the transitional style ceiling fans can be used in either contemporary or traditional room settings. Or for that matter, in a truly transitional style room. The transitional style ceiling fans that have a built in uplight seem to be the most popular.
