   I have just installed three of the Minka Aire Concept II fans in my home. I am interested in installing two of the "wet" version of this fans on a balcony. However, the ceiling of that area is concrete so the box to which the fan would be attached is below, not in, the ceiling. Does this fan provide a cover for the wide base which would otherwise be exposed to moisture penetration due to this kind of installation.

   Answer: No it does not. I am not aware of any ceiling fans that do have such a cover. I would suggest that you build a small box around the j-box to enclose it.

   Dear Sirs. Last week I bought a Minka Aire Concept II 519 BN ceiling fan. Which type of wall mount control do you recommend to operate in conjunction with the delivered remote control.

   Answer: Wall control model WC212 is the appropriate one. There are no other controls that are compatible with this fan, so you must use this control if you wish to operate the Minka Aire Concept II fan from the wall.    I HAVE A HEATALATOR 0 CLEARENCE UNIT ABOUT 27 YRS OLD, cAN i PUT A GAS LOG SET INTO THIS UNIT ? iT HAS OUTSIDEAIR INTAKE AND A METAL CHIMNEY. IT ALSO HAS FORCED AIR FANS TO BLOW OUT HEAT THROUGH VENTS ABOVE IT

   Answer: Yes, you can use this type of gas log and burner system in your Heatilator fireplace. However, we would need to know the actual internal dimensions to make sure the size you have selected will work with the Electronic Ignition system.

   I have a 2003 ceiling fan, brand name is SMC made in China. It have 3 wire comming out from the motor, white, black and blue. Testing it I hook black to black and white to white the fan works. Hook white to white and black to blue the lights works. Can I connect both black and blue wires from the motor to the black wire without any problem. Thank you

   Answer: Yes, that is how you connect a fan with lights.

   We would like to purchase a fireplace that burns both wood and gas as the Heatilator odyessey that was discontinued abot 4 years ago. Could you locate one for us or a similar product? Thank you. We are installing it in new construction.

   Answer: We no longer sell actual fireplace units. We recommend visiting a local fireplace shop to make such a purchase.

   Where do i find an installation manual for a style selection 24 inch vented gas log kit #0006857, the kit was on discount at the store and did not have a manual with it ( that we found out AFTER we got it home).

   Answer: The log set you are referring to is not from R. H. Peterson, so we cannot help you. The best resource would be the place where you purchased the logs. If they are not willing to help you get the manual...what can I say. We bend over backwards to make sure our customers are happy and get everything they need.

   At one time, you sold not only the Uniflame 3 fold Black Wrought Iron "Cathedra" or "Gothic" fireplace screen (UN-S-1049) but a matching tool set and log holder. Are those accessories still available...I could not locate them on your site?

   Answer: No they are not. They were discontinued some time ago.

   where can download or read install instructions for the Gauguin F581 WHF ceiling fan?

   Like most homes, my ceiling fan outlet is in the middle of the great room. What exactly do I need to buy. Is the motor separate from the fans and do I need to purchase a separate brewmaster fan as well. 3 items all together. I am looking for a "final" cost for the 2 fans and motor. Thank you!

    Would this be the best calculation method for a room 22ft X 22ft. Vaulted ceiling at 20ft on both low sides up to 28ft in the center. How far above the floor should they be mounted ? My goal is to keep cool air near to the floor in air conditioned hot months and warm air down during heated cold months.

    Answer: Yes it would be. Your fans should be as close to 8 feet from the floor for best performance. However, this may not be practical with ceilings so high, so you will need to compromise. This is best discussed with one of our ceiling fan experts, so we will call you to help you choose the best fans for your needs. Once the fans are chosen, we can then determine the downrod length that will be most appropriate...or visa-versa (meaning we may recommend the fans based on their available downrod length and performance.)
