Fitting the Fireplace:
Each mantel has a 1 1/2" pocket on the inside of the legs which is designed to overlap over marble or tile of a 1 1/2" thick or less. All mantels come with a pre-mitered scribe molding to fill in the difference in thickness of the marble or tile if it is less than 1 1/2" thick.

Finishing:
These mantels are hand crafted from furniture grade pine and then hand painted in a multi-step process that produces a unique highly decorative appearance.

Assembly:
The mantel comes in 4 pieces that are easily put together in a matter of minutes.
