Glass screens are designed to fit flat up against the outside of the fireplace and should overlap the opening by at least 1" on the top and sides.

The glass is typically 1/4" thick fully tempered safety glass. Some custom models can be made with thicker glass with optional glass colors and etchings.

This type of screen is recommended for use with gas logs.

Design Tip:
Glass screens look great with andirons. For large fireplaces It's OK for the screen to be smaller than the actual opening. Click Here!
