Boston Spark Guards are designed to fit flat up against the outside of the fireplace and should overlap the opening by at least 1" on the top and sides.

This type of screen offers great spark protection and is ideal for keeping small children and pets out of the fireplace. Not only are these screens great for standard sized fireplaces, they are also excellent for odd sized or very large fireplace openings.

Quality Features: These screens are made much sturdier than other Boston Spark Guards. All frames consist of large diameter steel rods welded to an extra heavy kick plate to provide rigid support. The SG Series provides a choice of three different finishes.

The mesh is specially woven to ensure that no jagged edges are exposed. Handles are securely bolted to the frame, not the mesh.

All are self supporting when tending the fire.
