We do NOT sell Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans!
We do NOT recommend or offer support for Hampton Bay Fans. Hampton Bay ceiling fans are sold only by Home Depot, it is their own house brand. If you are experiencing problems with a Hampton Bay fan, please contact Home Depot.
Since Hampton Bay fans are sold only by Home Depot, we do not have access to any details, wiring schematics, owners manuals or any other form of documentation for them, nor do we supply downrods, light fixtures, controls, or any parts to repair Hampton Bay fans. Such things would need to be purchased from Home Depot if they have them available for your Hampton Bay fan.
Note from the Editor: I stopped accepting questions regarding Hampton Bay fans in November of 2008, but decided to archive the questions posted prior to that date here on this page so that you can see what others have asked about them. Before you read any further, please take a look at the following list of services that we DO offer to customers who purchase fans from us:
Guaranteed Lowest Prices
We realize that getting the lowest price is not always the only important factor in your buying decision, but it is increasingly more important in today's tough
economic times. So, we do offer to match competitors prices with our Lowest Price Guarantee!
To Match or Beat a Price Call: 1-800-201-1193
Finding a place that provices great service is equally important, but more difficult to accomplish without interacting with someone.
Although the Internet makes it easy to compare prices, it does little to ensure you are going to get good service. Ultimately, our goal is to offer you both the
Best Price and the Best Service, a claim that most companies make but few can live up to.
If you are like me, claims regarding great customer service are empty words until proven otherwise. So, initially, you begin searching for the site with the
lowest price because it is so easy to compare prices online. But prices are fickle. They can change from site to site at any given moment, whereas
customer service typically remains constant. Either a site offers great service or it doesn't.
We are not hiding anything here. We know that the prices we have on our website may or may not be lowest you can find at any given moment. However, by taking all
orders over the phone, we have the distinct advantage of being able to make adjustments when necessary.
The bottom line is, if you have found a better price on this item, please give us a call.
We will appreciate being given the opportunity to beat it, and in the process, give you a chance to experience our excellent customer service!

This Plan gives you the ultimate protection beyond the factory warranty!
This plan covers things that are not normally covered by the manufacturers warranty. These are actually the most common problems that people have with
ceiling fans, which is most likely why the manufacturers don't want to cover them. Here they are:
- Broken Glass
- Broken Blades
- Broken Blade Holders
- Remote Controls (this is a big one)
We are proud to say that we will replace any of these at NO COST to you within the first 5 years after your purchase
based on our Replacement Parts Plan!
And YES...we are referring to cases where you are trying to clean the glass and you accidentally drop it, or you are sweeping the floor and you accidentally
hit your fan with a broom handle and break a blade. This is a very lenient policy, but there are some limitations,
so please read the details here!

Don't worry, if you find for less after you make your purchase!
Our Low Price Guarantee not only applies to the time at which you purchase your fan. If you EVER find a better price after you purchase this fan from us,
we will REFUND THE DIFFERENCE based on our Price Guarantee Guidelines!

Customer Satisfaction is Our #1 Priority!
The one thing that we are most proud of and sets us aside from our competition is our professional customer service. After being in the ceiling fan business for
over 30 years, we have learned many valuable lessons and certainly gained a level of expertese not shared by many.
However, knowledge is one thing...customer satisfaction is another.
We know that the main reason we have survived all of these years is because of our dedication to making
sure every one of our customers has a great experience dealing with us. This is not something we had to learn, it is just what we have always done.

The 2 most common questions regarding Hampton Bay fans
#1 Question: "How do I fix or get parts for my Hampton Bay fan?"
#1 Answer: "Contact Home Depot!"
#2 Question: "Who makes Hampton Bay Fans for Home Depot?"
#2 Answer: "Hampton Bay ceiling fans are mass produced in China by various manufacturing facilities, so there is no single company that actually makes all of the Hampton Bay fans. Because of the nature of having multiple factories involved in the production of fans like this, there is a lack of consistency, which makes it difficult to establish a reliable level of quality."

#9119 Posted: 7/24/2011 12:16:00 PM | View page where question was posted My great room is 25x25 with a very high ceiling...and it opens to a moderate (not small) sized kitchen with an 8 or 9 ft ceiling on one side and a small entrance foyer on the other side. I am considering the Alture 68" fan...do you think this is a good choice. I need a fan with a lite kit, and a remote with reverse, as it is mounted very high. And, if so, do you sell that fan? Or one comparable to it in size and price?

#9084 Posted: 7/5/2011 8:10:44 AM | View page where question was posted We have a five blade Hampton Bay 52’ fan for few years I am not sure if it was ever working properly from the beginning but the problem we are experiencing is fan speed. It does not seem to change much between the Low, Medium and high setting. It seemed to always stay in Low.
The remote we have works another Hampton Bay fan in another room just fine. Do you have any idea why this fan is having the speed problem or how to fix or trouble shoot it?

It has a disk globe light at the bottom and a "brushed steel" finish on downrod and engine. The light globe clips in. Can you help me identify manufacturer? We have broken the disk globe. It was already in a newly remodeled house that we bought so it is unknown where and when it was bought.

#8123 Posted: 5/8/2010 1:02:26 PM | View page where question was posted I recently installed a Ceiling Fan with Lights as well as purchased the Hampton Bay Thermostatic Ceiling Fan and Light Remote Control 838-956. I used for the first time few days ago.
The fan has Low, Medium, High and Off. However, it spins at 1 speed - Low/Slow. I took the remote back and the Mgr exchanged it. I tried the new remote but the speed when set to High remains at Low/Slow movement.
Is there something in the fan that needs adjusting? If so, could you please share with me.
