The Design Specialties Brookfield glass door has been our number one selling fireplace door for several reasons. For starters, it has a very simple non-obtrusive style that will not detract from the beauty of your fireplace. The frame is nearly flat, unlike most other stock fireplace doors that are wide and bulky. This type of style is usually available only with very expensive custom made doors. Yet the Brookfield is very affordable and comes in 52 stock sizes, so odds are there is a stock size that fits your fireplace. Plus, if there is some limitation that does not permit you to use a stock size, it can also be custom made for about half the price as similar style doors. The example above shows how a custom Brookfield door would be made to fit inside the opening of a rock fireplace. The Brookfield is perfect for this application because the narrow frame does not shrink the opening of your fireplace as much as most other doors. The Brookfield is available in over 20 designer finishes, 4 glass color options, mesh curtains or mesh panel doors and many other options. The frame is made of anodized aluminum, which is virtually impervios to heat and won't tarnish or rust like other doors in the same price range that are made of plated steel.
