If you email us pictures of your fireplace, we will add your fireplace to our glass door pages so you can see how our fireplace doors will look on your fireplace. This will also enable our experts to help you find the perfect doors for your fireplace and avoid any potential mistakes in the process!
Pictures: You may include several pictures, but please include at least one that shows your entire fireplace taken from directly in front of it so that we can crop it and resize it to fit into our glass door pages (like Example #1 below). Example #2 shows how your picture might look once reformatted to work on our site. Pictures should be at least 800x600 pixels (larger is better). Format can be .jpg, .jpeg, .tif or .tiff. Filesize should be under 10MB.
Email Subject: Please state the subject matter of your email as: "Fireplace Glass Door Help" since we will not open emails that have attachments if we do not know what they are regarding.
Measurements: Please include measurements of your fireplace opening if possible.
Phone Number: Please include this if you wish to talk to a fireplace door expert.
What happens next? When your image has been added to our site, we will email you the "Image ID" of your fireplace so you can quickly select it in the "Visitor Images" dropdown menu on our glass door pages. This dropdown will be enabled for you once your picture has been added to our database. This is a manual process done by graphic artists on our staff, so it can take up to 48 hours for us to reformat your image and upload it to our website (usually much quicker). There is no charge for this service, so it is well worth the wait!
What about image proportions? In order for us to make the doors on our site fit your fireplace opening, we will need to distort your image to fit the size of the door pictures. This may change the width and height proportions of your picture, but it will still allow you to have an idea how the doors will look. Example #2 pictured above shows how an image has been cropped and the proportions changed in order to apply the picture of the door. Also, the interior of your fireplace will be replaced by the interior shown in the picture of the glass door.
Privacy Note: Your privacy is very important to us, so we will never divulge your email address to any entity outside of our company. However, your picture may be viewable by other visitors to our website, so please do not show anything in the photograph that you do not want to be visible publicly. We will not associate your name or any information about you with your picture aside from any description you might provide. By submitting this form and including a picture, you are giving us all rights to use your photo in any manner we see fit.
