Light Bulb Lumen Comparison Chart
LED bulbs are now the best energy saving choice and will soon become your only choice. Here is a quick guide to the equivalent lumens between LED, CFL and Incandescent bulbs based on wattage.
Keep in mind that the wattage of a bulb does not necessarily determine the lumens as the chart below suggests,
so be sure to check the actual lumen output of any bulb for a more accurate comparison.

Lighting Question - Designers Fountain Model 96131-NI
96131-NI - http://www.hansenwholesale.com/lighting/designersfountain/model.asp?Mfg=DF&ModelNo=96131-NI
QUESTION: I have 3 small Designer Fountain Barcelona pendant lights (96130-NI)and the 5 light chandelier (96185-NI)in my kitchen. The problem is the outdated flush mount ceiling fan. I still need a flush mount fan, but do you have something that comes with a single globe similar to the Barcelona globe design (42" or 48").
ANSWER: Before I answer, I need to know just how high the ceiling is. If the ceiling is 8 feet high, then you really do not need a hugger fan and your options will be rather unlimited. If the ceiling is lower than 8 feet, then a hugger fan may be your only choice, although many of standard fans come with what is called a flush mount adapter, which nearly turns them into hugger fans. I also need to know if the fan must be in a similar finish as the Designers Fountain fixtures (which will limit your choices dramatically). Can you answer these questions as well as email me some pictures of the kitchen?

Lighting Question Model 4795-WH
QUESTION: How do you change the light bulb for this model. 4795-WH flush Mounts. I unscrewed the white fixture. I see a U shaped light bulb. I tried to unscrew it, but it does not come out?
ANSWER: This light fixture uses 1 13W PL (fluorescent) lamp with a GX23-2 base. This type of bulb simply plugs in, so to change it you would pull it out of the socket and push in a new lamp.

Lighting Question Model 4184-TA
QUESTION: What material is this light fixture made of? Is this a metal or a composite kind of plaster?
ANSWER: Neither...it is made of cast resin, which is the material of choice nowadays because it is extremely durable and can be cast into very intricate patterns for substantially less money than metal. It is also light-weight and easy to install and will not rust or tarnish...yet has a very substantial look to it.
