Looking for VENICE GOLD GLASS "shade" that is 7" tall, 6" across bottom, used with Quoizel Piccolo pendant in Malaga--QUO-FM1506ML. "Gold" layer is peeling from glass shades and model is discontinued. Looking to buy several since I have 11 with potential problems. Thanks.
Answer: We do not have any replacement globes in stock for your Quoizel Piccolo fixture and Quoizel has stopped manufacturing them, so we cannot order any for you.

Would it be possible to attach a ceiling fan to this fixture?

Answer: There are no generic replacement glass shades for flush mount ceiling lights as they are made specifically for the fixture that they use. So you will need to see if the establishment that sold you the fixture offers replacement glass. If you purchased the fixture from us, just give us a call with the brand and model number of the fixture (or your invoice number) and we will be happy to see if one is available. If you purchased it from a home center, then the answer is most likely no because they rarely import replacement parts for lighting fixtures that they sell. Keep in mind that replacement glass shades often times cost nearly as much as the entire fixture, so it may be easier to just buy a new fixture.

hello i am looking for a replace globe for a semi-flushmount ceiling fixture. The globe has a diameter of 15.5 to 15.75 and a lip to rest in the fixture of about an inch. If you have anything that i can use please advise. thank you
Answer: There are no generic replacement globes made for lighting fixtures...they are all different and made specifically for each fixture that the manufacturer produces. If your light fixture is from one of the major name brand lighting manufacturers you see on our website, there is a possibility that we can get a replacement globe for you if the fixture you have is still in production. If this is the case, we will need to know the brand and model number of the fixture in order to help you. If you cannot see a label inside the fixture, remove it from the ceiling and look on the top.
If your fixture was purchased from a home center or other mass merchant, you will most likely need to replace the light fixture because they do not normally sell replacement globes.

HI- I have a ranch with 2 flush mount lights inthehallway. We bought two new ones and when we removed the old ones...MAJOR work to replace. If I email u photos of what we have can u help and see if this is possible. My husband says he has to go into the attich and rewire everything and go thru the floor board etc....Ibought simple replacments....and this is a nightmare..

I would like to know if the fixture actually has green coloration as this is not mentioned in the description.
Answer: Although the fixture is produced in a gold leaf finish, there is a slight greenish hue to it depending on the angle from which it is viewed. This is the nature of gold leaf. That being said, the picture of the fixture appeared greener to me than the actual finish, so I applied some color correction to make it appear closer to the actual finish. Please keep in mind that all computer monitors display colors differently, so the color of virtually anything you see online will likely be different than the actual item in real life.

looking for 5 replacement 7 inch fitter glass shades.This is from a chandelier that fell.The color is white with a cranberry type wash over the white...HELP.
Answer: Based on the 7 inch fitter size that you have, it is most likely that the glass shades were designed specifically for your chandelier by the manufacturer that made it, so there are likely no generic replacement pieces available. We will need to know the brand and model number of your chandelier in order to be of any help. If it is a brand that we carry and the shades are still available from the manufacturer, then we can supply them for you.

Can this light be changed to a plug in swag light with a swag light kit?
Answer: The Progress 1-light Pavilion Mini Pendant light fixture is UL listed to be installed to a junction box, so you cannot use a swag kit for it. Most light fixtures nowadays are in fact designed to be installed to a junction box since most city codes require this.

I am trying to replace the diffuser for a 24" x 8" recessed fluorescent basement ceiling light. The original diffusers, which I assume were glass, were held in place by aluminum frames. I need two diffusers and frames. An ideas where I might get such things?
Answer: Not really. Most people end up replacing the entire fixture since they are easy to replace and are not very expensive.

I am interested in your Minka Aire light- ML-1861-66 The description of this pendant says 62" H. Is it posible to shorten the downrod? I would like six of these lights... but I need three to be shorter. Thanks!
Answer: Yes, you can cut the upper portion of the downrod to shorten the height as desired.
