Ceiling Fans for 7 Foot Ceilings

There are NO ceiling fans that are UL listed for 7 foot high ceilings. Here's why: Building safety codes require the blades for a ceiling fan to be at lest 7 feet from the floor. So it is not possible to meet building codes with a ceiling fan on a a 7 foot ceiling since the blades would need to be zero inches from the ceiling to meet code. So what do you do if your ceiling is this low? Either do not install a ceiling fan, violate the code and get a fan as flush as possible, or use a wall mount fan (or two).
