The Legend Elite is an inside fit fireplace door with a very narrow frame designed maximize the viewing area of the fireplace and have the least impact on the look. This door is designed to be mortared in to the fireplace opening but can be installed without mortar if gaps around the opening are not visually unappealing. This is the perfect door to if you plan to build the fireplace opening around the door or if you are refacing the fireplace. It is also a great choice for rock fireplaces and brick fireplaces that have large mortar gaps where you want the door to fit inside and then mortar around it. The Legend Elite is for use with masonry fireplaces only and has other limitations as well.
