Rock Fireplace with Heatilator Vent
with Custom Designed Buckingham Mantel Door
Customer Request: Looking for a door that looks similar to the Pleasant Hearth Fieldcrest door sold by Home Depot, but needs a custom made door to fit inside this irregular stone fireplace opening.

Our Comments: We have combined the features to two of our custom doors, the Buckingham Arch and the Mantel Door. We are calling this door the "Buckingham Mantel" and it is not shown anywhere on our site since it was designed specifically for this project. The price for this door is roughly $2500.00 in a powder coat finish depending on the size. We have shown it with 3 different powder coat finishes. We also added an example of an overlap fit using a 4" wide frame. The overlap fit will be much easier to install, but will not seal the fireplace well and will have large gaps between the stones and the door frame.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
