Project 10224 - Glass Door for White Brick Fireplace
Customer Comments: width - top = 36 7/16", bottom = 36 7/16", height - left = 23", right = 23 3/16". Carolina arched with cabinet doors. can you provide color samples? Note hearth extension granite cap is not level, is there a way to account for that flaw?
Our Comments: We have created several examples of finishes we think will blend best with your beautiful granite hearth. If you want us to make the frame out of square to compensate for the hearth being out of level, we can do that with any of the laser cut steel doors, which is most of the steel doors except for the Carolina, which has a frame made from standard bar stock. So if you like the look of the Carolina Arch door, we can simply replicate that look using a Legend door, which is essentially the same except it is made from laser cut steel. This only affects the price, not the look. Keep in mind that if we make the frame out of square, it will look out of square. It may be best to install the door level and fill the gap at the bottom with grout. In any case, your eye is going to see something out of square, whether it be the frame or the grout.
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
