We bought a home that was a flip recently and there were no doors on either side for our pass thru fireplace. It is a masonry fireplace with an exterior facing of ceramic tile. The kitchen side has no hearth. We would like a contemporary look, brushed aluminum or black set of doors.
Our Comments: Here are some examples of doors that fit your description. If you plan to burn gas logs, you will not need a draft at the bottom of the door to allow air intake when you burn the fire with the doors closed. We have shown one example below with the draft assembly so you can see the difference. All of our doors can come with or without a draft. Each door is shown with Grey glass.
Fireplace Opening: Unknown
These options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in.
