Project #10286 - Glass Doors for Marble Fireplace
Customer Comments: Refer to comments on Project #10285.
Our Comments: We have created two separate projects for your two fireplaces. This project and Project #10285. These mockups are for the masonry fireplace in the living room. We believe this fireplace demands something a bit more elegant, so we added the Craftsman door and the Carlina along with the doors you requested. The Craftsman door is quite elegant and is laser cut from a single sheet solid 3/16" steel so there are no seams. It is then hand crafted to perfection with additional detail. The Carolina is made from 3/16" thick steel barstock and is welded together then sanded and powder coated to hide the seams as best as possible. The Brookfield and Phoenix are made from extruded aluminum that are pieced together like a picture frame, so the seams are quite visible.
Fireplace Opening: 38 3/4" W x 26 9/16 H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
