Project #10313 - Glass Doors for Raised Hearth

Customer Comments: Hello, I'm requesting help in selecting and purchasing fireplace glass doors.I am including the requested photographs. My fireplace box is metal with firebrick floor. Originally it had a brick face and hearth. We have 8' ceilings and the brick went to the top. I have just finished installing stacked stone on the face and travertine pavers to the hearth seating area. This leaves the firebox floor approximately 2" down from the top of the pavers. The stacked stone and pavers do not extend into the fireplace opening. The fireplace glass doors will need to sit on top of a bottom rail that will lift it level with the pavers. The opening width is 38 1/2" at the top and 38 3/4" at the bottom. From the top of the pavers, the height is 23 5/8" on the sides and 23 1/2" in the middle to where it meets the lintel.

I would like to see the #1 Stiletto Zero Clearance door mock up. My selections are as follows:

1. Frame Size - Door size 60-70 UI
2. Powder Coat - Rustic Black
3. Glass color - Black Glass
4. Mesh - Black Mesh Curtains
5. Door Design - Standard Doors

Our Comments: We have created the mock up you requested and added a couple more that are commonly used with a fireplace like yours so that you and others can see how they look.

Fireplace Opening: 38 1/2" W x 25 3/8" H

Note: These mock-ups are digitally created and meant to be used as a visualization tool only. The door frames are not exactly to scale and the finishes we attempt to replicate may not be accurate and will look different on every device. Mesh Options

These options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in.

Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
