Project #10359 - Glass Door for Ledger Stone Fireplace
Customer Comments: Hi Terry, Below are pictures of my fireplace including the dimensions. I was told by a Stoll distributor that they cannot install their doors because the lentil is too far recessed into the firebox. So, I’m wondering if your doors might work or if it’s the same type of installation.
Subsequent Comment: I’ve narrowed it down to either Brookfield and Legend. Possibly sunrise window or window pane. Grey glass and single gate mesh panel. Color is tricky, looking for a matte finish, can’t tell if silver is matte or shiny. I like natural iron and anodized satin nickel. Think these would work well with the grey tones in the marble tile.

Our Comments: Here are the mockups you requested. The only concern is that a single panel mesh backup door is not recommended for a door this size. It would be too large and would easily warp or become damaged. We also added two bonus doors that are very high end to showcase how they would look in an application like yours.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
