Project #10367 - Glass Door for Fireplace #1

Customer Comments: Hi Per your website information, please see attached pictures, in order per instructions. (Have added one, the last one, which shows top right corner behind existing door.) I need doors for 2 fire places and have sent a separate email with FP2 I have not yet removed the existing doors; which I presume I will need to do before final measurements. FP 1 opening measures: Top 41 1/16 wide x 24 3/16 high (L side height) Bottom 41 5/16 wide x 24 1/4 high (R side height) I have not yet decided what finish we might prefer and look forward to seeing your mock-ups. We will also require new logs, burners etc for both fireplaces. FP 1 has an existing natural gas burner and logs, FP2 is a plastic mock-up, but does have existing natural gas connection. Regards

Our Comments: We have provided mockups in various price ranges from the low end to the ultra high end. Hope you like these.

Fireplace Opening Size: 40 5/16" W x 24 1/4" H

Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Mesh & Insulation Options

The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.

Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
