Project #10443 - Custom Fireplace Doors
Related Projects: Project #10444 - Other side of fireplace
Customer Comments: Good Morning, I have a client who has asked me to help with her fireplace. She needs the insert as well as the doors. As you can see from the photo it is pretty deep as it’s two sided. Dimensions are 38 1/4" wide X 42” deep and the height is 28”. Also attached is a similar fireplace she saw on her travels that she liked and would be very happy to have something similar. Are you able to help source both an adequate sized insert as well as the doors? I am based in Bermuda but my freight forwarder is in NJ. All the best.
Our Comments: The fireplace in the example you supplied is a direct vent gas fireplace, so the glass panels are sealed. We can reproduce the look, but you must have doors that can open as this is required when you install gas logs. The example showns the doors closed only because we cannot open them with computer graphics when creating mockups like this.
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
