Project #10448 - Glass Doors for Fireplace - Family Room
Related Projects: Family Room | Library | Master Bedroom
Customer Comments: Attached please find pictures of our three fireplaces. We are looking at the Stiletto, ZC, Inside Fit, Standard Rectangle, in either matte black or vintage iron, with clear glass, and either the square or twist handles. Feel free to make corrections or recommendations to any of the above if it won’t work with what we have, or if you feel a certain look will be better. The vintage iron looks nice in the pictures on your site - thoughts on that color?
Our Comments: The Stiletto is a great choice for an aluminum door that fits inside the opening. There will be a small gap around the frame to allow for a good fit. We have also included a higher end option that can overlap the opening, which will give you a much more finished and elegant look. The overlap fit doors doors are hand crafted by Stone Manufacturing from solid steel or solid brass depending on the finish.
Fireplace Opening: 42" W x 24" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
