Project #10463 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Hi , Please help! I’m looking for replacement doors for a wood burning insert. I also want the mesh screens but prefer if they weren’t part of the actual glass door but be a separate screen that you can pull closed. We are looking for a solid black color. I’m confused if the black panels, as seen in the pictures (top and bottom) are also part of the replacement doors? Can you clarify? I’m measuring the actual opening to be 35” wide and 21 3/4” tall does that sound correct? How exact does the measurement need to be or are these door adjustable for variences in measurements? This is a remote fireplace, it’s a prefabricated insert, wood burning. Want to keep the price to around $300.
Our Comments: Just to be clear, the least expensive custom fireplace doors are more than double your budget. With that said, we went ahead and created a variety of doors for you to see what the potential is outside of your budget. If you must be under $300, then nothing here is going to even come close and we will be of no help finding you anything that cheap.
Fireplace Opening: 35" W x 21" 3/4" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
