Project #10474 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: I love the screen I saw at Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel CA (see example below) but I obviously would like to customize a screen to fit the fireplace. The screen was beautiful. Not polish.Like the satin nickel with a brush of gold. Lots of gold in our artwork. So silver with a brush of gold. Love the pattern. We want it to run the entire 89 inches left to right and if you look at the picture from the Ritz it was a few inches above the top of the fireplace top. We have 15 inches between the top of the fireplace opening and the bottom of the TV showcase. I would like to keep it in the area of a $3K budget but understand the size is a bit larger than most.....if you can find us a pattern, finish and budget we are very open to discuss. Thank you for your time and attention. MLL
Our Comments: Here are some of the patterns we have discussed, including the final two that you have narrowed it down to. You can choose to have the screen made just to overlap the opening or overlap 4 to 60 inches. The screen can also be bowed.
Fireplace Opening: 89" W x 28" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
