Project #10538 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Attached is a photo of our two sided fireplace. this is new construction so we can't get around it to do all the images you wish. The opening is 3 foot high by 4 feet wide with 4 inch granite surrounds around the edge with the screen set back into the fireplace. We're looking for something heavy in nature, but also a bi fold door in that the door would have to be set inside the granite with the first part of the door opening straight out past the granite and the second part turning back. We would need two sets for both sides. But most importantly someone to install them. Not looking to find someone in our area, which is very hard in NH. the flue is 2 foot square going up.
Our Comments: We have created several mockups of doors for you to consider. All of these have heavy 3/16" thick steel frames.
Fireplace Opening: 48" W x 36" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
