Project #10644 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Good Afternoon, I am looking for help with placing fireplace doors on our fireplace. Please see attached photos. Fireplace is a prefab gas fireplace with no label and vents down the side. If possible, can we do a door with wider sides that would also cover the edges of the interior box? Not sure if it is ok to cover the vents. Would something similar to the Bungalow style on Project #10630 work? Im thinking black or possibly a satin/brushed nickel finish. I look forward to any suggestions you might have. Thank you for your assistance.
Our Comments: We have included several ways of treating your fireplace from a simple glass door that fits inside the opening as well as some models that accomplish what you are looking for. These look great, but price is usually the deciding factor when it comes to these types of treatments.
Fireplace Opening: TBD
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
