Project #10724 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Hi Terry, This is a prefab majestic BR36 that was installed with the house in 2008. The opening is 36” by 19 3/4” and it currently has a mesh curtain on it. Best case we would like the doors with an overlap so it’s a clean fireplace look around the marble. We were initially looking at the Brookfield in Rustic black, square handles. Let me know if there are additional photos I can send you and I appreciate taking the call today.
Our Comments:
Fireplace Opening: 36" W x 19 3/4" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Low End Aluminum Doors
Aluminum ZC doors must either overlap the black metal opening or fit directly inside.
Medium Range Steel Doors
Steel doors are more substantial than aluminum doors but mist also directly overlap the black metal or fit just inside.
High End Hand Crafted Doors
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from and can be made to overlap the tile to cover the jagged edge. They have a 1/4" spacers on the back of the frame that allow air to flow into the fireplace so it does not overheat.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
