Project #10730 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Greg, Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. We are enjoying our great room fireplace screen so much we wonder if you might help us select another screen for consideration. The room is our lower level living room. I have attached pictures as before. To give you an idea as to what we were thinking: #107 - hammered edge in burnished steel #1125, #1129, #1132 (all WI-1P30) in Black Antique Silver. Let us know you thoughts for consideration.
Our Comments: Screen #107 does not come in the same finishes as the other screens as it is not made by the same company as the screen you have in your great room. We have shown that screen in a vintage iron powder coat finish. The "WI" Wrought Iron series screens do not come in Black Antique Silver, which is a beautiful finish only done on Solid Brass materials. So we have chosen some finishes that are available on the hand crafted wrought iron screens. We also added a solid brass screen that is available in the Black Antique Silver finish.
Sizing: We have shown examples of the screens made 1" wider and 3" wider than the opening. Either way is appropriate and is a matter of personal preference.
Fireplace Opening: 33 1/2" W x 29 1/4" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
