Project #10770 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Good Afternoon, I work for Essex County Club in Manchester, MA. I am looking for a custom fireplace screen for our large fireplace. The dimensions of the current folding screen is 99” wide and 36” tall. The fireplace measurements are 72” wide and 60” tall. Do you still need a photo of the fireplace? If so I can take one and send it along. If possible, could you also send me a price estimate and also an estimated time table for something like this? Thank you very much for any help you may be able to provide. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Our Comments: There are many ways to treat a fireplace like this, so we have created quite a few mockups to help you narrow down your choices. It appears that the only place where black and polished brass are being used in this room is in the fireplace, with the andirons being the driving characteristic. Because bronze and silver tones are used elsewhere, you may want to consider changing the andirons or having the brass balls refinished to satin nickelor silver (we can do this for you).
Fireplace Opening: 72" W x 60" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Custom Estate Style Fireplace Screens
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass, Steel or Wrought Iron depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
