I think the model we are interested in is the Legend ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door with Tuscan Louvers in Forged Iron along with Gate Mesh Doors. Please let me know if you have any questions. We look forward to speaking with you about the cost and timeline.
Excellent description of what you want. We have created a mockup of the requested door along with some measuring instructions. You may want to cover some of the black metal with whatever material you are using to reface the fireplace. We have provided 2 examples of how we can make this door. We recommend the first example, which minimized the size of the frame.
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Option #1: Legend ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door in Forged Iron and Clear Glass with Gate Mesh Backup Doors. Shown with frame made shorter than outside black metal of fireplace. You would cover the exposed black metal with your facing material.

Option #2: Legend ZC Deluxe Fireplace Glass Door in Forged Iron and Clear Glass with Gate Mesh Backup Doors. This shows the frame covering the entire black metal fireplace in case you do not want to cover any of the black metal with your facia.
It appears that the tracks that hold the existing doors can be removed. These should be removed before you measure. H4 will probably be more than the 21" you stated for the opening height if the tracks are removed.
If you plan to cover any of the black metal, you need to supply the overall measurements based on the black metal you wish to leave exposed.
W1 - Overall Width of Black Metal: 41 1/2"
W2 - Opening Width: 31"
H1 - Overall Height of Black Metal: 36"
H2 - Height of Black Metal at Top:
H3 - Height of Top Vent:
H4 - Opening Height (after tracks are removed):
H5 - Height of Vent at Bottom:
H6 - Height of Black Metal at Bottom:
Note: H2 + H3 + H4 + H6 must equal H1

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
