Project #10791 - Glass Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Here are dimensions of a fireplace that I would like a to add a glass door. In the past this fireplace had a Vermont castings stove. I am interested in the Stiletto door a in matte black finish. The cozy grate might be a consideration. Of course if you have other recommendations I am happy for your thoughts. Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you.
Our Comments: We have shown several examples of doors that will work for your fireplace with and without the grate heater. The Stiletto door may not be ideal for this application since it has a frame that projects out 1 5/8" (see profile picture below). You can see other Examples of Doors with the Grate Heater Here

Low End Aluminum Doors
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.

Medium Range Steel Doors
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
