Project #10820 - Glass Doors for Fireplace

Customer Comments: Good day, We would love to get a quote and some ideas on new fireplace doors and screens. Our handyman said that it's not a standard size, unfortunately. The measurements that he took are 35.5 x 20.5, or 34 x 18.5. We prefer brushed nickel/chrome, silver whatever for hardware. Just no gold, please. As you can see, we're in the process of painting the wood a very light grey color. Thank you so much! Warm regards.

Our Comments: Your options are somewhat limited due to the way the trim around the fireplace has been done. So, we have 2 basic concepts for you to consider. We can replace the existing doors with similar doors that fit inside the opening, but fit a little better and look nicer. Or, we can cover up the entire fireplace and make disguise the fact that it is off center. We can do as little or as much brushed nickel as you want. We also threw in some gas burning fires to give it a more modern flare.

Before:

Low End Aluminum Doors

Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.

Medium Range Steel Doors

Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.
