Project #10822 - Custom Screen for Cabin Rock Fireplace
Customer Comments: I am interested in buying a screen for my gas fireplace. Attached are some pictures Please email me with your suggestions. I have not considered glass doors because of concerns for carbon monoxide poisoning but I am not sure if my concerns are valid. I think the 3 fold would look nicer than a single screen and I am not sure what the bowed screen looks like. Hence, open to suggestions.
Our Comments: There is no issue with glass doors and carbon monoxide as long as you burn the gas logs with the glass doors open. With that said, we will start by just showing the basic 3 types of free standing screens and go from there. The wrought iron screens we have selected from Stone Manufacturing will best compliment your fireplace and equal the caliber of the architecture and decor. Free standing screens are always best complimented with Andirons, particularly in rooms with high ceilings, so we have shown all of the screens with and without Andirons. We included one example of a less expensive screen from Design Specialties just to meet a lower price point.
