Project #10945 - Glass Screens and Doors for Fireplace
Customer Comments: Have a client who is looking for a custom arched glass screen with clean lines and chrome feet similar to your style #302. Here is the fireplace. The metal insert is now removed. Dimensions 41w x 30h at tallest center point, 26h left and right sides. Channel feet, 5" width in chrome plated brass, please.
Our Comments: Actually, the channel feet are available in 4x2 or 6x3 feet. Below are mockups showing both sizes, one slightly smaller than the opening and one larger. Free standing glass screens are for use with gas fires only and must be at least 6" to 8" away from the opening when the fire is burning. We have included an option showing the screen in front of a contemporary glass crystal fire to complete the look.
Fireplace Opening: 41" W x 26-30" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

High End Hand Crafted Solid Brass
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass or Steel, depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.

Feet Options
The feet are made from chunks of solid brass and are available in a wide variety of finishes including polished nickel or chrome (as shown). The Channel Feet are available in 4x2 and 6x3 sizes. Block feet are available in 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 sizes. Stabilizing felt pads are available on all feet. Roller bearings are available for block feet to make moving the screen easier.
Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
