Project #10991 - Decorative Screens for Large Tuscan Fireplace
Customer Comments: Our home is what I like to call Clean Tuscan; An old world style but open and airy with a balance of clean lines and ornate details. We are looking for a custom screen (not glass) for our large cast stone fireplace. I think I prefer bronze finish but am open to suggestions. I like the rope detail. Unsure whether single panel (flat or bowed) or 3 panel folding will look best. Thank you.
Our Comments: We have created mockups showing the 3 options you requested. We believe a single panel flat screen or mesh curtains will work best on this fireplace, which we have added as well. Andirons are always a great finishing touch for wide fireplaces, so we added a couple mockups showing andirons. View More Andiron Options Here.
Fireplace Opening: 77" W x 34" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

These solid brass split tubes can be used as a trim by themselves or added to a screen or glass door to transform an ordinary fireplace into a modern masterpiece.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
