Customer Comments: I am requesting mock ups and pricing for a fireplace door with mesh screen. Fireplace opening I am looking for very basic, no frills design as well as low cost. We do not use the fireplace, just looking for the door to provide some insulation as well as more of a "finished product" to the overall fireplace look. Prefer black and what I'd refer to as a matte like finish (no shine). No brass embellishments. Thanks.
Our Comments: We have provided 3 options in different price ranges and materials. The first option fits inside the black metal opening of your fireplace. The other two overlap the brick.

Option #:1 Stiletto Aluminum ZC Fireplace Glass Door in Rustic Black with Gray Glass and Mesh Curtains. This door fits inside the black metal opening behind the bricks. Made from Aluminum Extrusions.
Overlap Fit
Option #:2 PROFILE-2 Overlap Fitting Aluminum Door in Flat Black with Gray Glass and Mesh Curtains. Made from Aluminum Extrusions.
Option #:3 FLAT-STEEL Overlap Fitting 3/16" Thick Flat Steel Door in Flat Black with Gray Glass and Mesh Curtains. Made from 3/16" Solid Steel. Quality look that Fits very flat against the bricks.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
