Custom Fireplace Glass Doors - Project #11074
Customer Comments: Hello, Fireplace dimensions are 37 1/2 inches wide and 26 inches tall. Measurements were taken in three locations, exact to the smallest measurement. There is a trim around the opening of the fireplace that protrudes approximately 5/8 for the face of the fireplace.
Our Comments: We can make doors that overlap the 5/8" trim or fit inside. Doors fitting inside that have a frame will be made 1/4" smaller than the opening on each side and the gap will need to be filled with grout. We also have doors that have no frame on the sides that do not require grout.

Affordable Aluminum Doors
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.
Option #1: Stiletto Fireplace Glass Door in Vintage Iron. Shown as an inside fit with grout.
Option #2: SI-Profile-6 Aluminum Fireplace Door with Bullnose Frame in Oil Rubbed Bronze Powder Coat. This door can be made to overlap to the outer dimension of the lip around the opening.
High End Hand Crafted Wrought Iron/Steel Doors
Hand crafted doors take on a more rugged natural look for those who appreciate craftsmanship tasteful details.
Option #3: SI-Industrial-Age-2 Transitional Style Fireplace Door in Antique Gray with Gray Glass. Shown as an inside fit with grout.
High End Hand Crafted Solid Brass
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass or Steel, depending on the finish that is desired. Very high end, and very refined. Items made from solid brass come in a wide variety of hand crafted patinas and other finishes. Satin Nickel finishes done on solid brass are the finest quality and will not rust like plated steel.
Option #4: HYBRID-2 Bifold Fireplace Glass Door in Bronze Metallic Powder Coat. This door fits inside the opening with no frame on the sides, so it does not require grout.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
