Glass Doors for Fireplace Raised In Tile Wall - Project #11084

Customer Comments: To whom it may concern. We are interested in glass/screen fireplace doors, I have attached pictures of my fireplace along with some picks from you website that we liked. Desired Outcome: Attached examples 1, 2, and 3 is what we are looking for: 11081 Option 5, 10844 Option 4 Bubbles, 11049 Option 1.

Our Comments: Here are mockups of the 3 examples you liked. The "Bubbles" model you referred to is a free standing screen, not a glass door. We can incorporate that design into a door, but it is difficult to mockup as a twin or bifold door, so we have shown it as a single door.

Fireplace Opening: 35 1/4" W x 36 1/8" H

Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Modern 3
Modern 3 Fireplace Door Option #1A: Modern 3 Fireplace Door with Hidden Frame in Satin Nickel (Brushed Aluminum). The profile picture shows how this door projects out enough to open the doors without handles. The back frame can be narrow enough to hide behind the door frame or can be made wider as shown in the side view. The hidden frame is 3/4" wide with 1/4" visible behind the doors. This frame only overlaps 3/16", so the fireplace must be perfectly square. Updated 3/1/2022 - The original picture showed a single gate mesh door behind the glass which is not available, so we removed it in this updated version and added the 1/4" frame reveal in black.
Modern 3
Modern 3 Fireplace Door Option #1B: Modern 3 Fireplace Door with 1" wide black frame and Satin Nickel doors (Brushed Aluminum). Using a 1" frame allows for a more comfortable 3/8" overlap on all 4 sides in case the opening is not perfectly square (Added 3/1/2022).
Minimal-1
Minimal-1 Fireplace Door Option #2: Minimal-1 Fireplace Glass Door in Flat Black.
Bubbles
Bubbles Fireplace Door Option #3: EC-BUBBLES Single Fireplace Door with Bubbles Pattern in Plated Steel Satin Nickel. This can also be made as a twin or bifold door.
Slim Moderne
Slim Moderne Fireplace Door Option #4: Slim Moderne Twin Fireplace Glass Door in Textured Black with Satin Nickel Doors. Shown with Single Gate Mesh Backup Door (Added 3/1/2022).

Mesh & Insulation Options

The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.

Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
