Glass Doors for Heat Circulating Fireplace - Project #11144
Customer Comments: Hello, Looking for some suggestions and mockups for our fireplace. Pictures are attached as requested. We would like to replace the entire front of the fireplace. We would like a more modern look in all black potentially with glass doors. I like a couple of the more simple Hearth Creations designs. There is a lever in the top vent to control the fireplace flue. The current fireplace is a Majestic WMII-42S.
Our Comments: Here we are presenting several options of the simpler Hearth Creations doors with basic designs in black. Each mockup shows how we might modify the standard vent covers to accommodate the lever at the top as well as the fan control at the bottom. Once you have selected a design we will create a measuring diagram for you as well.

Retrim Doors
Retrim doors are designed to reface the entire front of a heat circulating fireplace. They can be installed with very strong rare earth magnets or can be bolted to the fireplace with brackets on the inside. These doors must be burned with the glass opened, so we can include gate mesh backup doors or sliding mesh curtains behind the glass.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
