Custom Fireplace Glass Doors - Project #11175
Customer Comments: Options we want for the ZC Legend deluxe: clear glass, 1/2" bevels, Sunrise window. We chose natural iron powder coat for the moment, but need more info/photos of the difference between natural iron and vintage iron powder coat, and handcrafted forger iron.
Our Comments: Here are some mockups that should represent the options you are looking for with a couple additional mockups to use for comparison. We are missing the opening dimension and the width of the top black metal, so those will need to be confirmed.
Difference in Finishes: Forged Iron is a smooth blackened steel finish. It has variations in the darkness without brush marks because it is hand rubbed, hence the reason it is in the "Hand Crafted" category of finishes. There is a richness to the finish that you cannot get with powder coats. Vintage Iron and Natural Iron are powder coat finishes that have a speckled texture to them. Vintage Iron is a darker gray where natural iron is lighter.
Fireplace Opening:
42 11/16" W x ?" H
44 11/16" W x 32 5/8" H Overall Dimensions
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
