Brushed Nickel Glass Doors for Absolute Granite Fireplace - Project #11242
Customer Comments: Hello! We are interested in Fireplace doors for wood burning fireplace with Smoked glass, Double doors, Brushed Nickel finish! Opening size 34 1/2W x 24 1/2 H. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Our Comments: We have created examples in a variety of materials ranging from brushed aluminum on the low end to solid brass nickel plated doors on the very high end. We interpreted your "Double Doors" request as bifold doors, but if you meant twin or cabinet doors, all of these can be made that way as well. The high end doors can be made with Graylite-14 dark gray glass, which is about 50% darker than typical smoked glass if you want to best hide the inside of the fireplace. Only doors from Design Specialties can be burned with the doors closed, the other brands must remain open when a fire is burning. Hope this helps!

Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Affordable Aluminum Doors
Aluminum is an excellent material for fireplace doors because it does not rust and can handle high temperatures when treated with powder coated finishes. It is also the most affordable.

Medium Range Steel Doors
Steel doors are more substantial than the less expensive aluminum doors. They are heavy duty and rugged and are more customizable because the frames are laser cut.

High End Hand Crafted Solid Brass
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from 100% virgin Solid Brass and then nickel plated. The result is the finest quality satin nickel finish possible that has a deep luxurious luster and will never rust.Very high end, and very refined. The last option is an exception as it is made from laser cut steel.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
