Contemporary Screen for Stone Fireplace - Project #11262
Customer Comments: I am interested in getting a proposal to create a custom fireplace screen for my home. Attached are two images. The first is of the room in which the fireplace sits and the second is of the fireplace itself. The dimensions of the fireplace are 33 inches high and 50 inches wide. We do not want a screen that fits in this space as we prefer one that would stand outside the opening, albeit closely outside. We prefer rustic bronze (not a shiny bronze). Finally we prefer a contemporary style. Thanks!
Our Comments: Here are some ideas for you. Some of the screens use a bronze and weathered brass combination to match your Minka Aire Clean ceiling fan, assuming it is the bronze and brass model. Each of these screens can be made in a variety of bronze tones, so do not get to caught up in the finishes that are shown since they are computer mockups and some are diffiecult to render a rustic bronze finish even though they can be made that way.
Fireplace Opening: 50" W x 33" H
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
