Arched Fireplace Doors with Rectangular Opening - Project #11269
Customer Comments: Hello Erick, As per our last conversation, I removed my existing fireplace doors. I have attached some pictures along with the measurements. Let me know if you can provide some designs. We are interested in Polished Nickel or Satin Nickel. We have not yet decided. And we are interested in a clean design with rectangular doors and a plate over the arch, much like our current doors. We plan to use a TV in the fireplace. So we do not need a screen or the grates for air flow. What models in your inventory might apply to our needs?
Our Comments: Polished or Satin Nickel can be done on solid brass or steel. Solid brass doors are about double the cost of steel doors. Nickel and Chrome finishes are incredibly deep and rich when done on solid brass and a little more blurry and imperfect with steel. Nickel plated brass is also extremely durable over time and will not pit over time like steel.
Fireplace Opening: 46 1/2" W x 24 1/2" H (Sides) x 34" H (Center)
Note: These mock-ups are not to scale and are meant to help you choose the model of your screen or door, not the finish. Although we may create a general representation of black, iron, bronze, gold and silver tones, you must choose your finish from our samples using the links below. Ask your project manager which samples apply to the items in your project.

Medium Range Steel Doors
Nickel plated steel is relatively affordable but will have more imperfections in the surface and will be slightly blurred compared to solid brass

High End Hand Crafted Solid Brass
These doors are hand crafted by skilled artisans from Solid Brass. The Polished Nickel finish has a deeply rich luster that is highly reflective with less blur. This type of finish cannot be created with plated steel. Satin Nickel is very refined with a smooth satin finish that is not deeply brushed like many steel plated finishes. These doors are quite refined and very high end. The brass material is only available in widths up to 9", which is not wide enough to craft the door in a single piece. We have designed it with a 3" wide overlay, which allows us to craft the arch at the top from the 9" material.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
