Customer Comments: Would like to see mockups of the Carolina free standing screen and Carolina mesh doors.
Our Comments: The 4" to 7 1/2" ledge at the bottom of the opening is too small for the Carolina legs, which stand out about 9". We have creatd some mockups showing a different brand that has feet that will work. We also included some attached mesh doors that we recommend.

Free Standing Screens
These screens are made from steel and have a 1" wide frame with 3" legs
Option #1A: Stone Manufacturing 1P30M Solid Steel Free Standing Screen with 1" Frame, Angle Feet and Square Rod Handles in Oil Rubbed Steel.

Carolina Mesh Doors
These are made from laser cut steel with a 1 1/2" wide outer frame and 1 1/8" door frames.
Stone Manuifacturing Pseudo Clearview Mesh Doors
These high end mesh doors have a 2" wide outer frame with 1" wide doors and feature a unique "Pseudo Clearview" 1/2" wide black center frames that minimize the obstruction.

Mesh & Insulation Options
The Mesh options are behind the glass so you can burn the fire with the doors open and still have spark protection. Great for real wood or gas logs since most gas long manufacturers insist that you have a screen in front of the logs when they are burning. Mesh panel doors are the most popular and are best for when there are toddlers present because they will not open backwards whereas the mesh screens are easily pushed in. Insulation goes between the back of the frame and the fireplace facing, providing a better seal.
Black Mesh Curtains - These slide back and forth on a rod behind the glass
Gate Mesh Doors - These are separate doors behind the glass that have a flat wire mesh and a black frame.
Insulation: Provides a better seal between the fireplace face and the door frame.
